What should I wear at work today? This question haunts me every morning when I look at my work wardrobe. And, I guess every woman will second my thoughts.
If you ever had to make a quick choice between black or any other color, irrespective of the occasion or time of the day, what would you choose?
Black? Is it?
Well,. although, am not a fashionista, but, there is one fashion tip I always abide by :
If you want to look classy and sassy at the same time, choose Black. It is one shade that will always save the day for you when you are working around the clock- whether at home or office.
There are several other reasons why I end up picking black most of the time and why my work wardrobe is now filled with black outfits.
WHY BLACK DOMINATES MY WORK WARDROBE?
Pair it with almost anything!
Nothing comes as easy as pairing your black tee or black trouser with any other tops or bottoms in your closet. It can be paired with whatever you bring on the table. Black can go with any shade, even the most outrageous ones. And can turn any outfit into a work outfit.
Saves time
If you cannot think of anything to wear and are running late for the office, then just pick a black top, pair it with a blue denim, wear your heels and you are good to go. There can be no color as corporate or professional as black. Plus, you can never get bored of this combination.
Sheds some kilos!
Interestingly, black makes you look thin. I have heard it from many people and read it somewhere, as well. And, I also got many compliments whenever I wore black. Hence proved! So, wear black and enjoy the compliments that come your way.
Takes you from 9 to 9
Whether it is an all black outfit or that LBD or a black suit, you can take this color from your meetings to your get-togethers and parties effortlessly. Whatever the occasion might be, Black always fits the bill. All you need to do is change your lip color!
A timeless shade
Black can never go out of trend. It is perhaps one of the trendiest colors out there. It will always be fashionable to wear black. Heard of the phrase “the new black”? There is a reason why new fashion trends are called the new black. I don’t think I need to explain why!
